Secret Squirrel MTB
Race Report: Secret Squirrel Mountain Bike Race 2019
Some serious shredding went down at the Secret Squirrel MTB race. Held at the
infamous Freetown State Forest. The race was much different from previous years, consisting of a
well-balanced 7.5 mile loop. The course featured the Freetown tech you know and love (plus a few new tweaks). There's definitely no shortage of large rock features in the forest. With plenty of tech to keep the locals happy and enough short breaks in
between for those who don't practice rock gardens enough. This was a true XC course that offered something for everyone. It
was the most technical course on the Bubba Trophy Series so far.
Massachusetts saw 21 days of rain in April and that wouldn't be the case this weekend. All things considered, the trails at Freetown State Forest were still in great shape.
Riders were able to find flow
Team rider Wayne railing corners, he also had a solid weekend with a third place.
What a fun race! Mike and the Rock Hard Racing Crew always put on a good event. There is always something for everyone. Great job!
Huge thanks to our sponsors for their continued support through this journey
