Class Act Racing Gears Up For the 2021 Race Season. Class Act Racing is a New England based competitive cycling team. We have a diverse group of team members who are active in the outdoor sports scene throughout New England and Florida year round. We are active in several race series as well as local advocacy groups, ongoing volunteer work and coaching. We are a well-respected, recognized and appreciated team throughout the New England mountain bike and cyclocross scene. We are currently active members or participants of USA Cycling, the Cylesportif Off Road Series, New England Mountain Bike Association, Eastern Fat Tire Race Series, Friends of Wompatuck State Park, New England Bicycle Race Series, New England Cyclocross Series, Zanconoto Single Speed Cyclcross Series and the Gone Riding Race Series.

Class Act Racing is gearing up to concentrate on the Cyclesportif Off Road Series, NEMBA Race Series, Eastern Fat Tire Race Series and the Gone Riding Race Series. Our season opener will be announced once Covid -19 restrictions have been lifted. We are hoping with 2020 off that the Stage is set for an exciting 2021 season and we can’t wait for it to get underway. We would love your support in cheering us on this season.

Six Gap of North Georgia

This challenging and breathtaking route will take you on a rollercoaster ride of peaks and valleys. The Gaps has sections with sustained grades of 9 to 12 percent, so be ready for some serious climbing. As the ride progresses don’t forget to pay attention to your surroundings, as you will be experiencing some of the most stunning landscapes. The entire loop including the short 3 mile US 129 connector is 77 miles long. The southern loop is 35 miles and the northern loop is 38 miles. Each of the six segments includes crossing through a mountain “gap” or low pass, hence the name Six Gap. Four of these gaps are at points where the Appalachian Trail crosses the roadway. Woody’s Gap - will reward your hard day’s efforts with a long and scenic descent. 🍁 Maple Is My Staple 🍁 Bike wheels are prone to wear and tear over many miles ridden. So, if you’re a cyclist, replacing your wheels is inevitable. Race Recap 2021 FLE # 6 - 30 /60 mile - Markham Masher

The 2021 FLE #6 - 30/60 - Markham Masher, as the state racing season moves closer to the midway point, the racing venue moved to Seminole Wekiva Trail in Lake Mary, FL. The course consisted of 8 miles of flowing single track located in pine scrub and oak hammock of the Wekiva Springs State Park. The sun was out, the humidity was low and temperatures and trails were perfect for this annual South Florida stop on the FSC circuit. The race course was fast and flowy but also demanding because of all the tight and twisty turns. Trail Map The start and brief Going into the race, I felt great. I had my bike dialed, I knew my fitness was good, and felt like I had good knowledge about the course. Everything worked out perfectly, aside from a close encounter with a non racer. The individual chose to ride the trail in opposite direction of the race course. We encountered each other on a blind corner. I was able to keep my bike upright but had to come to a stop.
